Popis kurzu

  • Kurz obsahuje 80 akademických hodin (80x45min)
  • Malé skupinky (max. 6-10 lidí)
  • Výuka probíhá na základě anglického, německého nebo ruského jazyka
  • Koncepce výuky je sestavena v souladu s požadavky Evropského referenčního rámce pro jazyky
  • Učitelé používají dobře osvědčené metody výuky českého jazyka jako cizího, přehledně vysvětlují funkci a použití jazyka v praxi
  • Výuka probíhá poutavou a zábavnou formou
  • Po složení závěrečné zkoušky na konci kurzu student obdrží Osvědčení o úspěšném absolvování jazykového kurzu
  • V případě potřeby bude studentovi nabídnuto složení certifikované zkoušky na úrovni A2

Výukový plán kurzu

The objective of the course is: To achieve beginner’s-intermediate knowledge of the Czech language (A2).

Course materials: Our tutors use the most up-to-date educational materials from the authors with extensive experience of teaching Czech as a foreign language, which are published by Karolinum, Academia, Akropolis. We also use additional materials designed specifically for the course, which students are provided with free of charge.

The course is primarily focused on the grammatical aspect. The students are getting familiar with the structure of the studied language

Course content:

  1. In-depth study of Czech grammar (types of the nouns’ declension, adjectives, personal and possessive pronouns, numerals, conjugation of irregular verbs, imperfective and perfective verbs, prepositions, and compound sentences).
  2. Practical use of grammar, exercises to consolidate the knowledge, learn and expand your vocabulary Building of the oral communication skills: ability to speak with a well-mastered grammar, using new vocabulary.
  3. Formation of writing skills: presentation and essay, short messages.
  4. Practicing reading simple texts and articles, making dialogues.Ability to ask and answer questions. Role plays.
  5. Grammar test to consolidate the knowledge + small oral exam.

The outcomes of the course:

  1. Development of the Czech grammar (see above).
  2. Improvement of the ability to speak, discuss and improvise in the following situations:
    • Self-presentation (talking about yourself, family, entertainment)
    • School / Work / University
    • Plans for the Future, Career / Profession / Job Search
    • City Life / Shopping / In the bank and the post office / At the barber’s and dry cleaners’
    • Going to restaurant / Typical Czech cuisine
    • Travelling across the Czech Republic / Getting familiar with the country
    • State and public holidays Czech Republic / Culture and traditions of the nation
    • Mood and emotions / Leisure
  3. Improvement of the reading skills -texts, articles, containing new vocabulary and the Czech pronunciation.
  4. Ability to listen and understand the rapid Czech speech in the dialogues, descriptions, dialogue. The student will be able to understand the overall point of what was said.
  5. Ability to write: correcting errors in the text, enhancing the ability of more accurately express their own thoughts. The gradual removal of Russian words in the speech.
