  • Kurz obsahuje 100 akademických hodin (100x45min)
  • Malé skupinky (max. 6-10 lidí)
  • Výuka probíhá na základě anglického, německého nebo ruského jazyka
  • Koncepce výuky je sestavena v souladu s požadavky Evropského referenčního rámce pro jazyky
  • Učitelé používají dobře osvědčené metody výuky českého jazyka jako cizího, přehledně vysvětlují funkci a použití jazyka v praxi
  • Výuka probíhá poutavou a zábavnou formou
  • Po složení závěrečné zkoušky na konci kurzu student obdrží Osvědčení o úspěšném absolvování jazykového kurzu
  • V případě potřeby bude studentovi nabídnuto složení certifikované zkoušky na úrovni B1

Vyukovy plan kurzu

The aim of the course: To achieve the Intermediate knowledge of Czech language (B1).

Course materials: Our tutors use the most up-to-date educational materials from the authors with extensive experience of teaching Czech as a foreign language, which are published by Karolinum, Academia, Akropolis. We also use additional materials designed specifically for the course, which students are provided with free of charge.

The goal of this course is to consolidate the study of Czech grammar and vocabulary. It generally and aims to develop communication skills and vocabulary.

The content of the course:

  1. Test of the grammatical knowledge, consolidation and correction of the mistakes.
  2. Building of the oral and written communication skills: ability to speak using the new vocabulary and grammar, reading texts, articles and making dialogs. Role plays, debates, discussions, writing letters (informal, formal), and descriptions and correction of the mistakes. Removal of the Russian words in the speech, work on pronunciation.
  3. Listening comprehension (the ability to listen and understand): watch or listen to video and audio recordings, with an emphasis on vocabulary, discussion, and expressing opinions.
  4. Formation of reading skills: the ability to read and understand simple short-adapted stories, fairy tales, short novels. Getting to know some of the leading writers of Czech literature.
  5. Visual perception of language when watching movies or cartoons, often of humorous genre, having discussions, expressing opinions and expanding vocabulary.
  6. Final lexical-grammatical test + oral exam.

The outcomes of the course:

  1. Consolidation of the knowledge of learned Czech grammar.
  2. Development of such skills as talking, discussing, improvising, finding solutions and ability to communicate in the following situations:
    • Self-presentation / school / Work / University

    • Living in the country and abroad / Travel
    • Politics & Economics / My business in the CR
    • Our Future / Environment

    • Education and awareness

  3. Improving the skills of reading longer texts and articles, containing a set of new words.
  4. Ability to listen and understand fast speech in the dialogues, descriptions, news, movies. The ability to understand the general point of the conversation as well as the details.
  5. Ability to write: correcting mistakes in the texts of formal and informal nature.
  6. Being familiar with the cultural and linguistic features of communication with native speakers.
